How VC Tech AI handles data.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to the VC Tech AI Android application distributed on Google Play, the VC Tech AI iOS application, the customer web platform, and the website at vctech.ai.

The apps are enterprise tools. Access is issued by a customer organization (for example a bank, retailer, restaurant chain, warehouse, or plant) or by VC Technosolutions to its own staff. There is no public consumer sign-up inside the app.

VC Technosolutions Pvt Ltd (“VC Tech”, “we”, “us”) provides the platform. For footage and accounts that belong to a customer, that customer decides why the data is processed and how long it is kept. We process it to deliver the service they have contracted. For enquiries sent through this website, we decide the purpose ourselves.

Registered office and headquarters: Plot 18A, Sector 17, Kamothe, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra 410209, India. We also operate from Bangalore and Delhi.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what the service needs to authenticate you, show the sites you are allowed to see, deliver alerts, and keep an audit of access.

We do not ask the app for your contacts, SMS, call log, precise GPS location, or advertising ID. We do not sell personal information. We do not show third-party ads, and we do not use the app to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

The website keeps ordinary server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, and time) to operate and protect the site.

3. How we use information

• To create and authenticate your account, and to enforce the sites, cameras, and actions your role allows.
• To show live video, playback, camera health, analytics alerts, and reports for those sites.
• To send push notifications and other alerts you or your organization have turned on.
• To let authorized operators verify an alert and, where the customer has asked for it, trigger a siren, two-way audio, a ticket, or a call to police, fire, or ambulance.
• To keep an access audit trail, investigate misuse, and secure the service.
• To fix crashes, maintain uptime, and provide support.
• To answer a demo, sales, careers, or support enquiry you send us.
• To meet a legal duty, a court order, or a request from a competent authority in India.

We do not use footage or account data to train public models, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Video, audio, and people on camera

The service handles surveillance video and, on sites where it is enabled, audio. That material can show employees, visitors, customers, vehicles, and workplaces. It is customer security data. Your organization is responsible for placing cameras lawfully, informing people where notice is required, and setting who inside the organization may watch.

Inside VC Tech, live monitoring and alert verification are limited to command-centre staff and engineers who need access to deliver the contracted service. Viewing and export are permissioned and audited.

A snapshot or clip you save onto your phone is then stored on that device, under your device’s own controls. Delete it from the phone if you no longer need the copy.

5. App permissions

Android will ask before the app uses a sensitive capability. You can refuse a permission; the related feature will not work, and the rest of the app still will.

• Notifications — to deliver alerts for the sites assigned to you.
• Microphone — only for two-way audio on a site where that feature is enabled, and only while you use it.
• Photos, media, or storage — only when you choose to save a snapshot or clip to your device.
• Internet — required to reach the platform.

On Android, alert delivery uses Google Firebase Cloud Messaging. Google receives a device token and the notification content needed to deliver that alert to your phone. We do not use Firebase for advertising.

6. Who we share information with

We share information only as needed to run the service:

• Your organization. Administrators can see accounts, permissions, and audit activity for their own sites. Other users see only what their role allows.
• VC Tech staff. Command-centre operators and support engineers access footage and alerts to verify incidents and keep the service running, under access control.
• Infrastructure providers. Hosting, storage, and notification providers process data on our instructions, in India or in the cloud region the customer has selected. Video is encrypted in transit and at rest.
• Maintenance vendors and emergency services. Where the customer’s workflow says so, a fault ticket goes to the named maintenance vendor, and a confirmed threat may be reported to police, fire, or ambulance.
• Authorities. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. If the business is transferred, the service data goes with it under this policy.

7. How long we keep it

• Video and alerts are kept for the retention period set in the customer contract or in that customer’s storage settings, and then deleted or overwritten.
• Account and audit records are kept while the account is active and for a limited period afterwards so we can resolve disputes, security incidents, and legal duties.
• Push tokens and crash diagnostics are kept only as long as needed to deliver alerts and fix faults.
• Website enquiries are kept long enough to respond and maintain a business record of the conversation.
• Server logs are kept for a limited security window and then deleted.

8. Security

Sessions are encrypted in transit. Stored video is encrypted at rest. Access is role-based, with maker–checker controls where the customer uses them, and an audit trail of access. Our information-security management is certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; we work to limit and detect unauthorized access.

9. Your choices and deletion

You can stop push notifications in the app or in your phone’s system settings. You can withhold microphone or storage permission. You can sign out, which ends that session.

Account creation and closure for a customer user are handled by that organization’s administrator. To close your own access, ask your administrator, or write to us and we will coordinate with them.

Delete your data. Email info@vctechnosolutions.com with the subject “VC Tech AI data deletion request”. Include the account email or username, and the organization name. We will delete or anonymize the account data we hold, unless we must keep a record to meet the customer contract, security logs, or the law. Footage belongs to the customer organization; deletion of recordings follows that organization’s retention settings and instructions.

If you submitted only a website enquiry, the same email address will delete that enquiry record.

10. Children

VC Tech AI is a workplace and security product for authorized adult users. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly open accounts for anyone under 18. If you believe a minor’s account exists, email us and we will remove it.

11. Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version at https://vctech.ai/privacy-policy and update the effective date. Where a change materially affects how we use account or footage data, we will also notify customer administrators through the service or by email.
